Fall fun is on the way to Baton Rouge! Whether your family is looking for a quick stop to choose a porch pumpkin or a full day of corn mazes, hayrides, farm animals and outdoor play, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the season around the Capital Area.
This guide includes pumpkin patches and corn mazes in Baton Rouge and nearby parishes, plus a few destinations that are worth the drive. We will continue adding details as organizers finalize their 2026 plans.

2026 Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze Guide
AgCenter Botanic Gardens Corn Maze
The LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens’ Corn Maze at Burden is one of Baton Rouge’s biggest fall outings. Each two-hour session includes opportunities to explore the corn maze, see the sunflower field, ride a hayride, play in the corn crib, visit the petting farm and choose a pumpkin. Families can also look for returning favorites such as Hay Mountain, giant games and local food vendors.

SESSION TIMES:
Morning: 9–11 a.m.
Midday: noon–2 p.m.
Afternoon: 2:30–4:30 p.m.
Not every session is offered on every date; select an available time when purchasing tickets.
NIGHT MAZE: Friday, October 30, from 6–9 p.m. The after-dark event includes the maze, marshmallows by the campfire, games, food vendors and live music. Night Maze admission is $20 per person; children ages 2 and younger are free.

ADMISSION: $17.50 for ages 13 and older; $15 for ages 3–12; free for children ages 2 and younger. Advance purchase is strongly encouraged. A very limited number of tickets may be available at the gate, but admission is not guaranteed.
Magnolia Mound Pumpkin Patch
Spend a fall afternoon at one of Baton Rouge’s most beautiful historic sites. The Friends of Magnolia Mound and East Baton Rouge Master Gardener volunteers will offer Magnolia Mound-grown pumpkins for purchase, along with children’s activities and time to explore the grounds.

ADMISSION: Admission to the site is free as part of BREC’s First Free Sunday. Pumpkins are available for purchase.
Jefferson United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
This longtime neighborhood patch offers pumpkins, seasonal photo spots and a simple family outing in the heart of Baton Rouge. Pumpkin sales support the church’s children’s ministries and local mission projects.
2026 STATUS: Opening date, hours and Trunk-or-Treat details have not yet been announced.

Pop-up Pink Pumpkin Patch at Baton Rouge General

Trinity Lutheran Church Pumpkin Patch
Trinity Lutheran offers another convenient Baton Rouge option for choosing a pumpkin and taking fall family photos.

Blackwater United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
Blackwater UMC’s annual pumpkin patch is a longtime tradition for families in Central. Proceeds have historically supported mission work.
2026 STATUS: The church lists its annual pumpkin patch, but public dates, hours and prices are still TBA.

Ascension Parish
NewSong Church Pumpkin Patch
Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, as well as various types of gourds from the Navajo Tribe in Northern New Mexico, will be available for purchase. Jellies and salsas from the United Methodist Children’s Home will be for sale. There will be a photo booth and other photo opportunities around the patch (no paid photography!). Free hayrides are available on the weekends. Morning field trips for area schools include storytime, hayrides, crafts, and pie-sized pumpkins. All proceeds go to church missions. Cajun Country Corn has been farming food and fiber for over 30 years. They started their corn maze in 2000 and have been doing it ever since. In addition to the regular maze, they open up a portion of the maze on Friday and Saturday nights for haunting. Other spooky attractions include the haunted trail, board maze, and zombie paintball.
