Easter arrives on April 21st and, as always, there are plenty of egg hunts planned to celebrate. Here’s the scoop on a few local favorites.

Gather up the family for BREC’s community egg hunts packed with fun and exciting activities for everyone. This will include themed recreational games, arts and crafts, visits from the Easter Bunny and much more. The amenities at each event may vary pending sponsorship funds/supplies provided from local organizations or partnerships.

Living Hope Fellowship in Sherwood

We will have a worship service, drawings, food, games, face-painting, cotton candy and much more! “Children will experience springtime excitement and the welcome of the Easter season with wonderful old fashioned activities overseen by the Easter Bunny. Join us for Easter Egg Hunts with plastic eggs filled with confectionery for children ages 2-5 and 6-8. All Festivities begin at 1:30 p.m. and advance ticket sales can be made by calling (225) 765-2437. Refreshments will be served throughout the day. General admission is $5 per person.

The West Baton Rouge Museum along with the West Baton Rouge Parish Library will host Eggstravaganza, an old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt – on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00PM.
Come for springtime games, crafts, face painting, and a visit from the Easter Bunny on the beautiful grounds of the West Baton Rouge Museum set on six tree-shaded acres surrounded by picturesque historical buildings.

Important Details
– This event is for families with children 2 years-12 years old
– Children will be grouped by age/grade for the egg hunt
– You can come and participate anytime between 12 PM – 2 PM
– The egg hunt will happen multiple times with a different groups each time, so come anytime between 12 PM-2 PM
– Parking is free during the event
– This is an outdoor egg hunt in our back field of the property.

This Egg Hunt is a special, spring break edition. We had to reschedule the egg hunt after all the rain made the fields to wet to hunt for goodies.
