Looking for a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate Easter this spring? Head to Walker for Easter in the Park, a festive afternoon filled with egg hunts, adorable bunny photos, games, and plenty of family fun.
Hosted by the City of Walker, this annual community event invites families from across Livingston Parish and the Greater Baton Rouge area to gather for a joyful Easter celebration in the park.
Taking place at Sidney Hutchinson Park, this free event features more than 10,000 Easter eggs, a petting zoo, food trucks, games, and activities designed especially for kids.

Families are encouraged to come early to explore the activities, enjoy the vendor market, and register children for the Easter egg hunt.
Easter Egg Hunt Information
The highlight of the day is the giant Easter egg hunt featuring more than 10,000 eggs.
The egg hunt begins at 3:00 PM and will run by age groups one after the other until all children have had a chance to participate.
Important:
Parents must register their children by 2:00 PM at the Children’s Village Tent to participate in the egg hunt.
Egg hunts will take place on the soccer fields next to the pond, making it easy for families to gather and watch the excitement unfold.

The Children’s Village will be located behind the community center along with the petting zoo, creating a special area just for kids to explore and play.
