Louisiana Lights is an annual holiday event that transforms Windrush Gardens into a winter wonderland, featuring hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights. Windrush Gardens scenic pathways and beautiful landscapes become even more magical as they are illuminated with festive displays, creating an inviting atmosphere perfect for a leisurely stroll under the stars.
What to Expect at Louisiana LightsÂ
As you make your way through the gardens, you’ll be greeted by a variety of light displays that highlight the beauty of the season. From sparkling trees and whimsical decorations to illuminated sculptures and festive music, every part of the gardens is designed to evoke the joy of the holidays.

Location: Burden Museum & Gardens, located at 4560 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge.
Tickets and Parking InformationÂ
- Admission: Tickets are available for timed entry every 30 minutes starting at 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Tickets are $22.00 per person ages 4 and up, children 3 and under are free.
- Parking: A parking pass was required for each vehicle last year and could be purchased for $10.00 when purchasing admission tickets, but we havnt seen that option available this year.
- Additional Activities: Keep an eye out for special nights featuring food trucks, hot chocolate stations, and other festive treats to make your visit even more delightful.
