Born from the vision of two Christmas-loving dads who wanted to create unforgettable memories for their kids, The Merriest Mile transforms the Livingston Parish Fairgrounds into a dazzling winter wonderland synced to music, lights, and pure holiday joy.

What’s New for 2025: Bigger Displays, More Songs & Even More Magic
The Merriest Mile is expanding its Christmas cheer this year with brand-new scenes, more lights, and enhanced musical moments. Here’s what’s been added for the 2025 season:
• 4 new holiday songs
• New themed light sections throughout the route
• Candy Cane Lane Tunnel — a glowing walkthrough (or drive-through!) of swirling red-and-white magic
• Christmas Story Tribute scene
• Santa’s Reindeer Stables — meet the reindeer in lights!
• Bumble Mountain — a fun nod for classic Christmas movie lovers
• 20% more lights added across the entire experience
• Expanded Rudolph Re-Run Lane — open weeknights (except Christmas Eve & Christmas Day) for visitors who want to go through the show twice and enjoy more of the music
Yes — you can now loop back through on select nights for even more Christmas lights and songs!

The heart of the show continues to be Louisiana’s tallest holiday structure — the mesmerizing 50-foot MegaTree, wrapped in 30,000 sparkling, dancing lights. From there, each scene tells a new piece of the story, including longtime favorites like Mrs. Claus’ Cookie Factory, Reindeer Flight School, and those beloved hidden Louisiana touches — red crawfish, green gators, and more!
With the addition of new zones and updated music, 2025 promises the most immersive Merriest Mile yet.
