CM Farms – Fall Family Fun

If your family is ready for a full day of pumpkins, farm animals, outdoor play and classic fall fun, pack up the car and head to CM Farms in Dry Creek, Louisiana.

Located about two and a half hours from Baton Rouge, CM Farms makes a wonderful fall day trip—or an easy excuse for a weekend getaway. The working family farm transforms into the Louisiana Pumpkin Festival each fall, bringing together a giant corn maze, a pumpkin barn, live music, festival food and more than 50 attractions and activities.

The 2026 Louisiana Pumpkin Festival will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from September 26 through November 15.

Fall Fun at CM Farms

There is plenty to explore once you arrive, so plan to spend several hours—or the entire day—at the farm.

One of the biggest attractions is the farm’s 12-acre corn maze, where families can wander through towering rows of corn and see if they can find their way back out. Younger visitors can also enjoy the Spookley Trail, inspired by Spookley the Square Pumpkin.

Families can stroll through the Pumpkin Barn, visit the farm animals, take a wagon ride, jump on the giant jumping pillow, race rubber ducks, explore play areas and stop for plenty of fall family photos.

Live Music at the Farm

Live music will add to the festival atmosphere throughout the fall season, with performances scheduled from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on festival weekends.

The 2026 lineup includes Parish Line, Dani LaCour, Silverado, Bubba & Alfred, the Johnson Brothers Band and several other regional performers. Check the CM Farms calendar before your visit to see who will be performing that day.

Special Event Weekends

CM Farms will host several themed weekends during its 2026 season.

Hometown Heroes Weekend

September 26–27, 2026

CM Farms will open its fall season by celebrating first responders, law-enforcement officers, EMTs, firefighters, electrical linemen and medical professionals.

Eligible hometown heroes can receive discounted admission for $14.95 with a valid ID. The weekend will also include demonstrations and equipment tours from local emergency-response organizations.

Not-So-Spooky Carnival

October 31–November 1, 2026

Children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes for a weekend of family-friendly—not too scary—fun.

In addition to the corn maze and regular farm attractions, little ghosts and ghouls can enjoy trick-or-treating around the farm while supplies last.

Come Hungry!

It wouldn’t be a fall festival without plenty of festival food.

CM Farms offers burgers, chicken tenders, hot dogs, nachos, pizza and other meal options, along with sweet treats such as kettle corn, cotton candy, fudge and over-the-top specialty milkshakes.

Food and desserts are not included with admission, so be sure to budget for a few treats while you’re there.
