A brand-new holiday tradition is coming to Baton Rouge—and it’s bringing Santa, sirens, and seasonal cheer! ✨
This weekend, families across East Baton Rouge Parish are invited to line the streets downtown for the inaugural First Responders Christmas Parade: Operation Save Santa.
BATON ROUGE FIRST RESPONDERS CHRISTMAS PARADE
The parade rolls Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM, beginning at the corner of 4th Street and North Street. This event will feature firefighters, police officers, EMS teams, military members, and emergency personnel from Baton Rouge, Baker, Central, St. George, and Zachary—all joining forces to escort Santa through downtown.

A Parade with Purpose
Hosted by the Robert A. Bogan Fire Museum and the First Responders Operation Save Santa Committee, this inaugural event shines a spotlight on the dedication, courage, and sacrifice of local first responders.
“Operation Save Santa is an opportunity for Baton Rouge to come together and show our unwavering appreciation for the men and women who protect and serve our community,” the committee shared. “This event reflects our gratitude and the strong bond between our first responders and the residents they serve.”
