Discover Nature with BREC Conservation

BREC manages thousands of acres of natural land and conservation areas across East Baton Rouge Parish, preserving wildlife habitats while making them accessible for recreation and education. These spaces include forests, wetlands, and wildlife corridors that support birds, reptiles, and native plant species.
The conservation team also works with volunteers to maintain trails, remove invasive species, plant native plants, and keep parks clean through community projects and events.
