Most cities have canceled the traditional fireworks and celebrations but all is not lost!  Many events have moved online to offer free virtual events for all to enjoy. Washington National Cathedral for an online Independence Day concert to celebrate the enduring values that make America strong, resilient and compassionate.

This year’s online concert features the United States Marine Orchestra, gospel artist Michael W. Smith, opera sensation Denyce Graves, former Senator Elizabeth Dole and so much more.

July 4th: A Tribute to the American Spirit Concert (LiveStream)

The United States Air Force Band, Washington Performing Arts, and National Harbor have partnered together with special guest artists Joshua Bell, Soloman Howard, and Larisa Martínez- Soprano to present a special online event, streamed live at 4:00 p.m. on July 4th. Hosted by DC’s own Aaron Gilchrist, morning anchor at NBC Washington, “A Tribute to the American Spirit” will highlight the resilience of all Americans, honor our veterans, and celebrate Independence Day with some patriotic favorites.
