Sail 250 Tall Ship Celebration

Details: Looking for a memorable family day trip? New Orleans is hosting Sail 250, welcoming 12 tall ships, naval vessels, and more than 3,000 sailors from around the world. Families can tour ships, enjoy riverfront activities, experience a downtown fireworks show, and take part in special events throughout the weekend.

We visited the tall ships when they came years ago, and it was one of those experiences our boys still talk about today.
