KnockFest – Step Into a Medieval Adventure

Families looking for a little summer magic won’t want to miss this one! Knock Knock Children’s Museum is transforming into a whimsical medieval village for this year’s KnockFest, and it sounds like an unforgettable day of family fun.

Inspired by the legends of King Arthur and the Sword in the Stone, KnockFest 2026 invites kids (and grown-ups too!) to step into a world of knights, princesses, dragons, fairies, and wizards for a full day packed with interactive activities, performances, crafts, and magical adventures.

Costumes are encouraged, so this is the perfect excuse to dust off the princess dresses, knight armor, fairy wings, or wizard hats and make a day of it with the family.

What Families Can Expect at KnockFest

This year’s festival will feature:

  • Live performances
  • Carnival-style games
  • Medieval-inspired crafts
  • A petting zoo
  • Unicorn pony rides
  • Sword-fighting demonstrations
  • Storytime
  • Puppet shows
  • Live musicians
  • Special knighting ceremonies throughout the day

One of the highlights for little ones will definitely be the knighting ceremonies happening multiple times throughout the festival, where young adventurers can fully embrace the medieval fun.

And honestly… unicorn rides alone are enough to make this event magical.
