Things To Do in Baton Rouge This Weekend

The City of Walker is planning a FREE, fun, family friendly “Celebration in the Park and Fireworks Show” on Saturday, June 29th from 5pm to Dark, to be held in Sidney Hutchinson Park, Walker, Louisiana.

The day’s activities will include an Art & Farmers Market, food trucks, hotdog and watermelon eating contest, children’s activities area with many family games and inflatables. The I-10 Bound Band and DJ Sondra Richard will be providing music.

The professionally choreographed fireworks show will begin at dark.

Free general parking will be in the lot on 13750 Ball Park Road, Walker, La.

No pets, outside food, or drinks allowed.

Luckett Farms Blueberry Picking

When: Every sat in June. They open at 7:30 AM
Where: 14722 pride port Hudson rd pride, la 70770
Admission: $15 a bucket for a little over a gallon

This will be the Berry last weekend of you pick berries. They are open through sat.

Some of the berries are smaller than at the start of the season, but still very sweet. They still have a million to pick! Unfortunately, they will not have a restroom available this weekend.

Family Fun Day at Le Chien
