About the Event

Join BREC for the first hike on Saturday, September 7th, and embark on a guided exploration of the largest conservation area in the BREC system—Frenchtown Road Conservation Area! This monthly event is the perfect opportunity for you to connect with your family and nature, explore scenic trails, and breathe in some fresh air after a long week.

Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or a curious beginner, this event is perfect for anyone aged 6 and older, regardless of experience level. Led by knowledgeable BREC Conservation staff, you’ll journey through lush greenery along the banks of the Comite and Amite Rivers, offering a unique chance to learn about our local environment, observe wildlife, and discover the diverse plant species that call this area home.
