Great family fun is always on tap at the annual Kite Fest Louisiane’, where the skies are filled with kites of all sizes and shapes. A kite-making workshop and kite designing are just some of the activities for children. Bring the entire family, some lawn chairs and enjoy a day of kite flying, Louisiana food booths, and indoor flying performed by indoor flying champions.
Look for the kites in the sky, located just off I-10 west of Baton Rouge, Exit #151 at 3383 Rosedale Road for the 18th Annual Kite Fest Lousiane’.

Join BREC on a Friday night for a great way to say hello to summer! The program will include a night hike learning about local ecology and nocturnal animals and will include activities and games. Enjoy this great way to get the family out after the daytime heat. Preregistration is required and spaces are limited. Children must be registered and accompanied by a registered adult.
