Spicy Chocolate Matzo Bark

December 9, 2015 by Guest Contributor

There is nothing like good times and great food to bring family together, especially during the holidays. We asked local food artisans to share some of their favorite holiday recipes with the Baton Rouge Moms community and over the next three weeks we will be sharing these fabulous recipes with you all. You can check out our Holiday Food Guide for all recipes as well as helpful cooking tips and hacks! We’ve got you covered in the kitchen! 😉 Today’s recipe is Spicy Chocolate Matzo Bark from Red Stick Spice.

Baton Rouge Food Guide

Matzo is unleavened bread that is traditionally consumed during the Passover holiday. This crispy cracker makes a great base for the thick covering of dark chocolate. We added pecans, Cayenne and Vanilla Bean Sea Salt for a spicy-sweet-salty twist. Simple, pretty and oh so delicious, this quick pick-up is the perfect addition to a holiday dessert buffet!
