National Black Business Month Block Party

Hosted by The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce, the  National Black Business Month Block Party is being held on Sunday, August 28th, from 5-8 pm at The Main Library on Goodwood Blvd.

Black Business Month is celebrated in August — it’s a time to acknowledge, support, and appreciate black-owned businesses across the nation and all they represent in the country’s continual striving for diversity and equality.

Black business owners account for about 10 percent of U.S. businesses and 30 percent of all minority-owned businesses.

This event will include vendors, food trucks, live music, a kid’s zone, photo booths, and a business networking suite for members and corporate partners.

This event is free and open to the public!
